The ban on public smoking is not going to be implemented at all. Smokers will easily flout the regulations. The government’s failure to implement the regulations will be seem in no time.

Common citizens also have a responsibility for effective implementation of the ban on public smoking and tobacco use. There must be massive awareness campaign to make the smokers aware.

The government has made a welcome move, but its implementation will be tough. Unless tobacco companies are scrapped use of tobacco products in public places will not be implemented.

Introducing laws does not automatically stop smoking and use of other tobacco products in public places. The government should rather ban the production and sale of tobacco products.
